LoRaWAN™/Sigfox and WiFi IoT Monitoring Device for Cold Chain
The Humitemp® has been designed for on-site visualization and remote monitoring of relative humidity, ambient, refrigeration and freezing temperatures, and door states in environments or processes that require accurate monitoring of these variables. They are offered with support for a WEB IoT platform for monitoring variables and a 4-digit LCD display.
Given its features and the possibility of connecting external sensors, the Humitemp® is an efficient and reliable solution in applications such as laboratories, blood banks, food production and processing plants, hospitals, cooling rooms, refrigerators, stability chambers, incubators, server rooms, flower farms, among many others.
It is possible to perform on-site configurations, accessing the list of configurable parameters through the buttons, to verify or change the value of variables such as alarm limits, measuring adjustments, enable or disable sensors, audible alarm level, publication time, measurement units, among others. At the same time, remote configuration of the device’s own parameters is supported, this can be done through the use of an IoT remote configuration platform.
For this purpose, customers are optionally offered a license for the use of a remote monitoring and configuration platform for the device, supported by the manufacturer. Such platform allows the display of real-time dashboards with the variables of interest, presents alarms with visual indications, sends external warning messages via email, SMS, and Telegram messages or via Webhooks, maintains data logs for up to two years, and tracks corrective actions and comments made when alarms have occurred. The use of other user-preferred monitoring platforms is also supported.
The most outstanding features of Humitemp® include:
- Communication port, where a dual communication module with protocols for LoRaWAN™/Sigfox for the USA/EU/Latam/Australia zones, or a Wi-Fi wireless transmission module can be installed.
- On-site visualization with LCD display.
- Receives up to 2 external temperature or door state sensors.
- Includes an integrated ambient temperature and relative humidity sensor.
- It can be powered by an AC/DC adapter and has a battery backup of 2 AA batteries.
- Built-in audible alarms.
- On-site and remote configuration of parameters.
- Possibility of membership for the use of a platform for remote monitoring and configuration, supported by the manufacturer. Integration to the web platform for remote monitoring by PC, Tablet or Smartphone, for visualization of current measurements, remote configuration of parameters, graphic record of each variable for up to 2 years, and external alarm visualization and messaging by email, SMS, voicemail, Telegram and via Webhooks.
- With LoRaWAN™ or Wi-Fi communication, temporary offline storage of up to 140 messages in case of network connection failure. Thanks to the real time clock (RTC) system that the Humitemp® has and the ability to synchronize this clock through the communication with the software service, in such a way that it stores as a backup the last 140 messages sent, with a correct time stamp.
